While we were at the AAS, Jordan and I were interviewed by Pamela Gay of Astronomy Cast. You can hear the results over at Star Stryder. (The good news is it’s audio, so you don’t have to worry about my shirt…)

Awesome. It’s quite a long interview, so drink tea and classify galaxies while you listen, but I enjoyed every minute of it.

Although I can’t resist pointing out that Hanny is a fully qualified teacher – the trainee one round here is me! (evil grin) ;-) Not that that makes the Voorwerp bit any less cool!

. . . oh yes, and you MUST listen to this in order to find out what actually happens to computer servers and their wires when overloaded. I never knew that!!! “My stars!” or “Stars above!” or whatever it is they say in Tintin books!

      Thanks Alice,

For some reason I still can’t here/download the file, but I’m getting more and more curious!

      :)

Oh and I didn’t make up the name ‘voorwerp’ (’fjgiie’ of the forum did) but I like it, even though it’s not ‘exotic’ indeed! haha :D
