hi guys
how do i join your zoo? – i think you guys are the tops and saw a news report the other day on bbc about the galaxy zoo and how some dude was now doing it as a pro – and i’m getting worked up about a bit a part p electrics – where d’you get your brains from.. and can i have some?!!

anyway – total and utter respect and i think that the crazy money that went to the ****er bankers should been given to you – and patrick moore should of qualified for a bonus.

Okay, the site seems to let me start classifying even though it won’t let me take the test- so, I’m classifying… Hope the machine does not blow out a spring or something!

Dear Galactic Classifying Colleagues,

I am an extreme neophyte newbie and have managed so far to classify only a few thousand beautiful galaxies in GZ, but have not as yet posted anything to the forum (still learning about access). Anyway, I recently received an e-mail from Galaxy Zoo inviting me to visit the Galaxy Zoo 2 Site, take the survey, and preview the Zoo 2 world, all of which I was very proud to do.

Does anyone know:

1. When Zoo 2 will be live (I don’t want to miss anything)?
2. I’ve been through the Zoo 2 tutorial several times but cannot take the test due to beta testing: Does anyone know when beta testing will be complete?
3. I am however apparently able to classify galaxies in Zoo 2, even though I haven’t taken the test yet.
4. Should I go ahead and try my luck at classifying galaxyies in Zoo 2?
5. In the meantime, should we continue classifying in Zoo 1?

Can someone provide some guidance?

The images are most definitely real! Click ‘Introduction to the SDSS’ on the side bar to find out more about the telescope that took them.
