Congratulations for the discovery and the paper! I have enjoyed reading it, very interesting work indeed! Part of my work is about Blue Compact Dwarf Galaxies, so your conclusions are really interesting for my own research, I´ll citate you, I´m sure.

I also has a blog about Astronomy, sorry it is in Spanish (my native language), but I have just written about this discovery and the Galaxy Zoo project:

All the best!

You're quite right Mark - gah, an ability to read always helps! :D :D Hey that's great news, I hope to see you back on the forum soon. Thanks Pamela for helping Mark!

I think she said they lie in UNDER-dense regions but that the high redshift galaxies live in dense environments. I cheated and went back to copy and paste. :D Thanks again Alice. I am currently working with Pamela on my issue.

Interesting that you say they're in an ultra-dense environment - they all looked very lonely to me and for a long time I've been thinking they tend to be on their own in space! I also thought their star formation rate was on average 40 times that of the Milky Way, not 10, but there you go - what the hell, it's less than an order of magnitude so a very minor mistake by astronomical standards. :D

I'll be sure to let you all know ASAP when we hear back from the referee. Then we'll have the paper posted on ASTRO-PH for all to read.

Thankyou very much for completing this paper and
